The "Dashing Through the Snow" Sleigh Ride Package

We invite you to go sleighing through the countryside, while viewing the natural beauty of a New England winter. Go dashing through the snow in a one-horse open sleigh, complete with jingling sleigh bells and antique lap robes to keep you cozy warm.

  • One dinner entree with the purchase of one entree
  • Deluxe guest accommodations
  • Breakfast for two the next morning

The ultimate romantic winter getaway is just $349 per couple, plus tax. Gratuities for our wait staff are not included in the package price, so please tip accordingly!

The Americana adventure begins in the stable yard of nearby Loon Meadow Farm. From there the horse guides the sleigh over the rolling fields and through the wooded surroundings. The horse genuinely knows the way to carry the sleigh all the way back home to the farmhouse - where steaming mulled cider awaits.

Upon returning to The Interlaken Inn, guests can sip complimentary hot toddies by the fire (a traditional New England "pick me up") or make plans for an early dinner and a great movie-going experience at the beautifully restored Millerton Moviehouse.

  • December 24th & 25th
  • December 31st
  • February 27th - March 8th
  • Saturdays beginning January 1st

Rides are available from 11am - 7pm Sundays through Friday, and not available on Saturdays and major holidays.  

Please Note - special "Moonlight Special Sleigh Rides" are available on the following evenings:

  • Saturday Feb. 4
  • Sunday Feb. 5
  • Tuesday Feb. 7 (full moon)

This package is available from November through March except for holidays.

  • Arrive a day early, or stay an extra night for just $159 (room only, plus tax). Offer available midweek from May - October, and any non-holiday from November through April.  Please call to book this special second night offer, not available online.
  • Gratuities for our wait staff are not included in the package price, so please tip accordingly!
  • Packages are based on overnight accommodations in the Main Building or Woodside.

  • $75 per night for Main Building King, Sunnyside King or Countryside King accommodations
  • $150 per night for Townhouse Suites
  • $175 per night for the Townhouse and Woodside Suites with Jacuzzis
