Our Woodside, Townhouse Rooms and Townhouse Suites are designated as 'Pet-Friendly' accommodations. We ask a $15 daily surcharge to accommodate your pet.

There are designated pet walking trails at the Interlaken. One is located behind the Recreation Center and the other is behind our Sunnyside Building. (The Victorian) Maps of our property are available at the front desk.

There are also loads of hiking trails in the area (including the Appalachian Trail and many legs of the trail that come into town) that allow dogs. Please ask for more information at the front desk.

Your pup is welcome to be off-leash and swim before 9 am or after 5 pm at Lake Wononscopomuc (which usually has more people during those hours). You can visit the lake at any time, but just be sure to have your pet leashed during those middle hours of the day.

Pets are welcome throughout most of the property except for the restaurant (health codes) and Lake Wononpakook (the back lake) as this lakeside cottage may already be rented to other people, and we want to respect their privacy.

There are also miles and miles of walking and hiking trails nearby that are pet friendly. Visit White Memorial Conservation Center with access to Bantam Lake and 35 miles of public trails, as well as the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, a nicely maintained and mostly level 22 mile trail.
