Interlaken’s Mixology Team Building Activity

The perfect wrap-up to your meeting session and pre-cursor to dinner, this is a one-hour bonding experience designed to encourage socialization, creativity, and communication amongst your group all while having fun!

Most people in the industry will say that Mixology is an over-used term. It is the art of creating drinks with premium ingredients but it doesn’t necessarily mean you would make a great bartender or vice versa. During this event, we’ll test your creativity and your bartending abilities!

Activity:

• The group will be divided into teams (6-10 people per team depending on group size) and each team will be asked to don their bar aprons (theirs to keep).
• With instruction and guidance from our Executive Chef as well as the history of Mixology, each team will advance through three stages of Mixology, progressing from an Apertif to Dinner Drinks (Vodka, Rum, Gin) to After Dinner Drinks (Cognac, Brandy, and Cordials).
• At each stage, the team will design a “Signature” drink which will be presented to the Food & Beverage Director for judgment plus one for them to sample as a team.
• All necessary bar tools will be provided as well as common and exotic ingredients to help them produce a one of a kind cocktail - they just need to bring their creativity and willingness to work as a team.

Cost: $65 per person, plus 19% service fee and 6.35% sales tax (includes choice of one stationary hors d’oeuvres platter for group during activity)

Details:

• Mixology is available for groups from 10-100
• All "mixing" activities can be customized to suit group’s needs
• Approximately 1 hour in length (You may want to schedule this for later in the day, perhaps before dinner)
• This program is available any day of the week
• Certificates awarded to winning Team
• Mixology is available as an stand-alone team building activity, or with day and overnight meeting packages.
