Session One
Survive The Drive - “It could save your life”

It is our own behavior that can help us “survive the drive”. This course will focus on safe driving and cover fundamental causes of automotive collisions. Bob will review the preventative and protective efforts each driver has available to help safeguard their driving.

Upon completion student will be aware of:
- the leading causes of crashes, what we can learn
- why emergencies appear to happen “all-of-a-sudden”
- what we can do to help protect ourselves and the people who are important to us who drive.

Topics to be covered….

Traffic safety statistics – people not numbers
What crash investigation reports reveal

Session Two
Survive The Drive - Advanced Awareness

Bob will cover the techniques, tactics and practices that can develop a more deliberate approach to your driving. Examine driving habits and refine them to improve the conditions of your current driving environment. Many of us have been in a car, daily, since shortly after we were born and will continue to drive until we are no longer able. This “refresher” course reminds us that driving can be hazardous and to improve performance in any endeavor it takes attention and focus.

Upon completion student will be aware of:
- Individual driving styles and how to fine tune them
- Enabling behaviors at the wheel
- The level of concentration necessary to drive well

Topics to be covered….

- 5 solvable factors that contribute to driving emergencies
- Vehicle and highway conditions

The statistics are the odds. What are your chances?
