Basha Cottage sports an eclectic design with pops of bright color, a mix of modern and mid-century elements, vibrant and engaging artwork, lively textiles, and distressed wood floors. The cottage has two bedrooms with king beds and two full baths, a fully equipped modern kitchen with cooking facilities and a dining area with versatile seating for six. The living room is comfortable and cozy with a linear fireplace and flat screen TV. A wall of windows floods the house with natural light and brings the outdoor in. The enclosed screened porch and a wraparound deck with a hot tub is the icing on the cake!
We had our very first Basha guests this weekend — Dr. and Mrs. Lombardo. We were anxious to hear their thoughts and Dr. Lombardo said this: "I stay all over the world in some of the finest places and I feel just as comfortable in this cottage as any of those places. It is just beautiful, chic and elegant, and it even gets the 'YES Network' so I can watch the Yankees. You really did a wonderful job with the renovation!"
Where did the name come from, you ask? Basha Cottage is named after the matriarch of the Reisman family who have owned the Interlaken for 33 years. We hope you will come and experience this very special new addition at Interlaken!
